Indiana’s Pioneer Saint

Mother Theodore Guerin arrived at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana in 1840, when the dense forest was still frontier country. Today she is Indiana’s only saint. This month, the order that she founded, the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, celebrate the 10th anniversary of her canonization. This video takes a look at her trailblazing life and the legacy she left behind.
